Is it the third time that’s the charm? That’s the number of times I’ve tried to get this damn blog started in the last year.
The first time I wrote a scathing post (my only post) about a hellish experience I had trying to get a dryer repaired by Sears and Roebuck. It had fire for sure. In fact, it got me some readership, though it was only my own. I read that thing over and over again until I tired of it and promptly pretended to forget I’d ever considered this blogging thing in the first place.
The second time I tried a fresh content strategy: re-purposing content. Namely my infamous Sears post. I tweaked and reworked that sucker to the point I surrendered and actually produced a second post; something about how I would write about working through resistance to blogging when I couldn’t come up with any other content.
Ouch.
So here we are — Offroad v.3. Here’s a first post strategy suggestion for good measure: just knock something out about how you’ve never been able to squeeze more than two posts out in the past before trashing your blog.
‘Nuff said.
